Nice to meet you! :) My name is Brooke and I was born and raised here in Utah. I am a wife and a mom of two cute kiddos. My husband and I are going on 11 years of marriage! He has been my biggest support, especially in perusing my dream job, photography! My business would not be where it isn't today, if it wasn't for his many pep talks and encouraging words. I also have two cute kiddos who keep me busy, when I am not editing photos I am homeschooling. My daughter is showing a pretty big interest in photography as well, so it might end up being a family trade. On the side I also have been pursuing a degree in web design and development, and graphic design. So you if you need a Logo or graphic for your business, that would also be something I would love to do for you!
I love the social aspect of photography! I am constantly meeting new friends, and driving out to shoots gives me a break from my responsibilities at home while hanging out with old and new friends.
I think every wife and mother should have a passion to keep them happy and feeling fulfilled outside of motherhood. Photography my passion and artistic outlet. There is nothing like the making something new and the pride of accomplishing something you are excited about. It is so much fun to edit and find it a relaxing way to end the day when my kiddos are in bed.
I am a huge fan of audiobooks, so that is most likely what I am doing while editing. I enjoy all genres of reading, but especially fantasy and sci-fi. Sometimes I'll put on a podcast or music if I am in the mood. :) If you are a fellow reader, let me know what books you love!
I find that trying new things helps me to think out of the box and experiment. Weather it be new prompts, locations, props, etc. I also am involved in several photography communities, and we bounce ideas and inspiration off of each other.
One day, I would like to offer videography in addition to my photography services! It is a dream I have that will happen when I don't have so much going on!
Chips and salsa or queso is definitely my favorite.... but that wouldn't be complete without my favorite drink ever, which is Dr. Pepper.
I know that getting nice family photos is a Luxury, and so that is how I aim my experience. My goal is to make your photoshoot a valuable experience from start to finish. I want to have open communication and make my clients feel comfortable not only in front of the camera, but also I want them to feel comfortable making editing requests. I've learned that all of the little details really matter and impact your experience. I also want to provide the highest quality product possible, and take pride in each session I take.
